Did you know there were 151 countries represented at Fruit Logistica in Berlin in February? HDC was proud to carry the Zimbabwean flag at this key global event.
A major highlight was the HDC stand, where we hosted “Coffee in Zim”. This consisted of a series of exclusive networking sessions. Visitors explored opportunities to link Zimbabwean growers with international partners, all over a cup of premium Zimbabwean coffee. Our stand welcomed a diverse range of visitors, from Zimbabweans making waves abroad, buyers from around the world seeking new sourcing markets, to suppliers of technologies ready to advance our sector.
Our CEO Linda Nielsen participated in the launch of the 2026 Statistical Yearbook by the Southern Hemisphere Fruit Alliance, sharing insights on export trends and opportunities for fruit producers and exporters. As Linda noted: “Fruit Logistica never disappoints; the scale, the innovation, and the enthusiasm are a reminder that horticulture is precision, resilience, branding, compliance, cold-chain engineering and a little controlled chaos.”
HDC looks forward to turning these global engagements into real opportunities for Zimbabwean horticulture in the year ahead.
