Where are Flowers grown in Zimbabwe?
Flowers are produced in a wide range of geographical areas in Zimbabwe. The range of flowers that can be grown vary from those that require a cold climate to those that prefer to be grown in a hot climate.
The areas where flowers are being produced are Gweru, Kadoma, Chimanimani, Ruwa, Marondera, Nyabira, Chinhoyi, Juliasdale, Karoi and Concession
Yearly Export Production

For the export period between June 2019 and May 2020, just over 2300 Tones of flowers were exported from Zimbabwe. There are many varieties of flowers exported from Zimbabwe. Below is a list of the different cultivars.

The bulk of Zimbabwean flowers are still exported to The Netherlands with other markets including South Africa, Far and middle-east, UK and the USA also being serviced by Zimbabwean exporters.
